The breakfast was good and offered a variety of choices. the hotel's location was in a nice area surrounded by mountains. the hotel had a relaxing spa with a sauna and an indoor pool.
The hotel was too expensive for the quality of the room and overall experience. the room we stayed in was outdated and had uncomfortable furniture.

Excellent service from front desk staff; great spa facilities, large room with comfortable bed which can be made even more comfortable by selecting your pillow; bottle of water on arrival, departure and when leaving for hiking/biking; allowed to check out late when hotel was not very busy (so thoughtful!); easily accessible by train; lots of hiking/biking trails nearby.
Food at the Belle Epoque restaurant was quite a disappointment (beautiful presentation - to match the high price - but undercooked vegetables and overcooked meat). Hopefully they do something about that as there are not so many restaurant choices in Saanenmoser.

We got a room upgrade which was great. The room was very big and modern. All the staff were extremely professional and really made you feel welcomed at the hotel. The pool and spa area was really nice after a day out and sightseeing. We had dinner at the traditional Swiss restaurant of the hotel which was very good.
We liked everything.

dinner and breakfast excellent staff very friendly and helpful the rooms are nice and freshly renovated
on a noisy street rooms really expensive for the location the original room we booked was expensive but did not even have a bathtub (in a ski resort) and had the charm of a conference hotel room. The upgraded room for a hefty extra charge was very nice (good bed, nice furniture with large comfy chairs) and newly renovated with a large balcony, but the bathroom was not renovated - though all functional and clean. Very nice but too expensive for off-season.

The surroundings were breathtaking, and the hotel is conveniently located near the ski slopes and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant had a very good menu, and the dishes were innovative and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the unique desserts.
The service and welcome were not up to par. We felt that the staff were not customer-oriented and not sensitive to our needs.
